I struggled to find the right Vitamin C for my combination skin — and I thought I’d tried all the “best” — but after a strong vote of confidence from Rachel Elizabeth of The Real Skincare Discussion on Facebook, I bit the bullet and purchased her top Vitamin C recommendation. Already I see and feel a major difference, including how well this is tolerated, how easily it fits into my routine (without piling, a former problem), and how multifaceted the results are. Of course the price tag is steep, but sometimes it’s better to pay for exactly what you want than spend the same amount buying a bunch of different (ultimately underwhelming) options.

Good brightening effects
It has helped brighten my skin. My skin doesn’t look dull when I wake up anymore. I haven’t experienced any irritation and I like that it doesn’t have a strong smell. I’ll be recommending to my patients with skin tone issues. I do wish it was easier to apply, hence 4 stars.
The free trial size hydrating serum had nothing in the container. I was really disappointed because I would’ve bought it if I liked the sample.

Great product
Starting this was a bit rough; I had some significant breakouts in the beginning but my skin cleared up and became brighter than ever. I have some sun spots on my forehead that faded almost completely with consistent use of this product alone. I stopped using this to replace with more budget-friendly option but my sun spots are more visible. So I am switching back to this! It’s pricey but worth it!
